Fiction: Loki Gets Zapped
Hello my lovelies,
enjoy Loki misusing Thor's hammer for horny purposes!
Find the illustrated version here.
This story is a loose sequel to The Benefits of Shapeshifting in which Thor and Loki take advantage of Loki's genderfluid shapeshifting skills. 😏
Glossary
Jotun, pl. jötnar: often translated as "frost giant", these figures are forces of nature not unlike the gods themselves, and not necessarily huge in size. The Norse gods frequently have sex with them and sometimes even intermarry. Both of Loki's parents and Thor's mother are jötnar, for example.
Jotunheim: land where the jötnar live
Loki: Norse god and trickster figure in Norse mythology who frequently gets the gods into and out of trouble. He is not Thor's brother, that is an invention by Marvel. But he is a companion of Thor, dressing up as his bridesmaid when Thor disguised himself as Freyja to steal back Thor's hammer from the jötnar. Like several of the other gods, Loki is a shapeshifter, turning himself into a fly, a salmon, a seal, and a mare. That Loki shapeshifted into an actual woman to pose as Thor's bridesmaid is an invention by me following the rule of sexy but it's an extension of his abilities in the myths (i.e. he turned into a female horse specifically).
Mjölnir: Thor's hammer, forged by the dwarves in a bet made by Loki. To make the dwarves lose the bet, Loki shapeshifted into a fly to disturb them in the process of smithing Mjölnir, resulting in the handle being a little short. Thor makes rain and thunder and lightning with it.
Norns: the three Fates in Norse mythology
Seiðr: a type of magic that Freyja is said to have taught to Odin. (Mortal) Women and men practised seiðr but since it was seen as a feminine craft, there was a stigma for men who practised it.
Thor: Norse god, son of Odin and Jörð, not Odin's wife Frigg. He is a protective deity and he makes it rain to fertilise the earth. Thor is married to Sif, whose hair was cut off by Loki, the event that prompted his bet with the dwarves to get her a golden wig. Thor never shapeshifts in myth to my knowledge. It might be something he's able to do but chooses not to or it might be something only gods like Odin, Freyja, and Loki are capable of. Mortal worshippers of Thor wore (and wear) amulets with Thor's hammer. It doesn't seem particularly well-suited for masturbation but I follow the rule of sexy.
